Mehwish Hayat set to play Benazir Bhutto in her biopic, ‘the deal is signed’

National Award-winning actress Mehwish Hayat is all set to play the role of Pakistan’s first and only female Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto in her forthcoming film. The Load Wedding actress appeared on Geo’s ‘Aik Din Geo Ke Sath’ on which she confirmed the news that “the deal is signed”. A few years back the actress had shown interest in doing a biopic of the late Benazir Bhutto. When the host asked Mehwish if the news of her playing Benazir is true, Mehwish said, “InshAllah. It is a huge subject and a very complicated one, her story is so inspirational. [I think] that our current generation and the one that is to come, need to see her contributions, struggles, progress, her life.” The Jawani Phir Nahi Aani star added, “She was the first woman Prime Minister of the country. Celebrity couple of Sadaf Kanwal and Shahroz Sabzwari appeared on ARY’s  Hamary Mehmaan . The  Alif  actress was asked about her take on equality in marriage, to which she answered that ‘Mard ka darja upar hai, wo kamata hai, khilata hai, bachon ka khayal rakhta hai’. She added that, ‘Mujhe Sherry ka zyada pata hona chahiye’, because she’s the wife. This interview has gone viral on the web and Sadaf also trended on Twitter for gendered statements about feminism and spouse equality. Pakistani actor Sonya Hussyn hosted a question and answer session on Instagram and revealed that she love Sajal Aly’s eyes and everything about Yumna Zaidi. Sonya indulged in a Q&A session on her Instagram handle and fans flooded her with questions. ‘All this maliciousness is false’: Simi Raheal supports Usman Mukhtar amidst harassment allegations

Veteran Pakistani actor Simi Raheal has extended her support to Usman Mukhtar after an artist Mehrooz Waseem, who worked with the Sabaat actor in 2016 accused him of harassing her. The Dastaan actor commented under a portal’s post, “Those who know Usman know that all this maliciousness is a lie, false accusation and attention seeking. Usman is a wonderful, respectful, kind and compassionate one a rare one!” Earlier, Usman took to Instagram where he shared a series of pictures under the title My Story , saying that he was being harassed for more than a year now. Scientists have ‘measured’ that Bella Hadid is the most beautiful woman in the world. The 24-year-old was found to be 94.35 percent ‘accurate’ to the Golden Ratio of Beauty . The list was compiled back in 2019 using computerized mapping techniques by Harley Street facial cosmetic surgeon Dr Julian De Silva, who utilises the technology in his work. Bella’s eyes, eyebrows, nose, lips, chin, jaw and facial shape were measured and came closest to the Greeks’ idea of perfection. Singer Beyoncé, 39, was second, coming in with a 92.44 percent match-up to those standards, while actress Amber Heard, 33, was third with 91.85 percent and pop star Ariana Grande, 26, was fourth with 91.81 percent. Nora Fatehi starrer remake of Noor Jehan’s ‘Zaalima Coca Cola’ trolled on Twitter

Nora Fatehi’s latest song Zaalima Coca Cola from her upcoming film Bhuj: The Pride of India was released on July 28. The song is a recreated version of Noor Jehan’s iconic song of the same name. The recreated version has been composed by Tanishk Bagchi with lyrics by Vayu and has been sung by Shreya Ghoshal. Noor Jehan has been given credit in the description but people are still criticising the makers for recreating a Pakistani song in an anti-Pakistani film.
