Shaan has a new suggestion for the government. Responding to the news which stated that the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to allocate Rs50 million to renovate and restore the Kapoor Haveli and other historical buildings in Peshawar, Shaan remarked that the same should be done with Madam Noor Jehan’s house. “Madam Noor Jahan’s house has become a plaza,” said Shaan. “Sad, our legends deserve it to.” However, Vasay Chaudhry disagreed with Shaan’s suggestion saying that the legendary singer sold it out of her “own will”.
