The picture has been going viral on the internet ever since and we can’t help but stay glued to it ourselves.
The picture that was shared by Bebo’s team is an unseen image from her D-day where she is seen giving a vintage red rust sharara a classic twist. The sharara, which Kareena inherited from her mother-in-law and veteran actress Sharmila Tagore was reworked upon by celebrated designer Ritu Kumar. Keeping in mind the Nawabi heritage, Kareena teamed her D-Day outfit with a statement maang-tikka and a Paasa, while adorning an uncut diamond and pearl necklace.
With intricate zardozi and gotapatti work, Kareena’s outfit comprised of a matching rust-red kurta and sharara with a contrasting mint green border. The Heroine actress teamed her wedding day outfit with a heavily embroidered dupatta and we just can’t take our eyes off her!
Kareena Kapoor stayed true to her iconic cat-eye even back then and accentuated her lips with a baked brick lip colour and minimal blush.
