Sanam Saeed, Shamoon Abbasi and Mohib Mirza along with other cast and crew members of Ishrat Made in China who were stranded in Thailand for almost two weeks have landed back in Pakistan. They arrived at the Islamabad International Airport late Tuesday night from where they were immediately whisked to the hotel where they will be quarantined till their COVID-19 test results come in.

According to details, the 21-member team of the film were stuck in Thailand for more than two weeks after the coronavirus pandemic caused airspace to be closed. Sanam, Mohib and Shamoon had made countless appeals on social media and had urged the government to assist them and bring them back home. They added that they had been stuck in a hotel in Kanchanaburi, a small but highly scenic town located some 3-and-a-half hours’ drive from Bangkok and that they were running out of finances.

After a long wait, the Government of Pakistan finally managed to arrange a flight and bring back those stranded.
