Haroon Shahid has commended the efforts of Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar for keeping the city of Lahore well-maintained.
“On a drive this morning I realized how well Lahore is maintained,” wrote the Qayamat actor on social media. “Yes, there was a phase when there were issues with the waste management but this morning was a pleasant surprise to see horticulture, waste management, and traffic police all doing their job well.”
“Well done Buzdar,” he added.

Haroon further said: “I’ve started to realise that Buzdar and his team have been working without many PR antics and their work is now showing.”
“There’s a whole PR cell working against him both from within and outside but frankly he’s slowly defying them with his work,” he added.
In a meeting last week, CM Buzdar had directed ministers and officials to pay field visits for monitoring the steps taken for providing relief to the citizens of Punjab.
Buzdar directed to ensure the best cleanliness arrangements in Lahore and other cities, asserting that removal of garbage must be expedited. Similarly, cleanliness plans should be monitored daily and the cleanliness of all cities in the province should be ensured at every cost.
The CM further said that zero-waste operations should be ensured in the city and no slackness would be tolerated.”
The provision of a neat and clean environment was the responsibility of the government and citizens should not face any difficulty in this regard,” he repeated.
