Legendary actor Dilip Kumar passes away

Legendary Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar has passed away at the age of 98. He is survived by his wife, Saira Banu.

“With a heavy heart and profound grief, I announce the passing away of our beloved Dilip Saab, few minutes ago. We are from God and to Him we return,” family friend Faisal Farooqui posted from the actor’s Twitter handle.

The Mughal-e-Azam actor had been in and out of hospitals in the last one month.

Known as the tragedy king in Indian cinema, Dilip Kumar acted in over 65 films in his legendary career. Kumar made his acting debut in 1944 with Jwar Bhata
