Sadaf Kanwal wished husband Shahroz Sabzwari on his birthday by sharing a video of them celebrating with a cake cutting ceremony together. In the caption of another video the Alif star wrote: “Yes he is clearly not a hugger.”
“My awkward husband I Love you sooo much!! Happy Birthday,” she added.
The Nand star took to his Instagram and posted, “for all the birthday love.”
Earlier in July, Sadaf faced backlash over her comments on gender roles in a marriage.
The Balu Mahi actress was asked about her take on equality in marriage, to which she answered that ‘Mard ka darja upar hai, wo kamata hai, khilata hai, bachon ka khayal rakhta hai’.
She added that, ‘Mujhe Sherry ka zyada pata hona chahiye’, because she’s the wife. This interview went viral on the web and Sadaf also trended on Twitter for gendered statements about feminism and spouse equality.
