Activist Zara Haider is collecting reports of sexual harassers on her Instagram handle. She received a reply from an anonymous girl who accused the musician Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan, popularly known as Xulfi of sending inappropriate messages and sexual harassment.
The lady claimed that the Aasmaan singer is a ‘predator’ who messaged girls at wee hours in the night when he used to run Nescafe Basement, adding that the girls remained quiet because it could affect their careers.
Zulfiqar messaged Zara and clarified his stance on the matter. He categorically denied any possibility of these allegations being true.
On Nescafé Basement, he formed the first all-girl band in Pakistan. He was recently roped in for Coke Studio’s forthcoming season.
