Sajal Aly bonds with Imran Khan’s sons, Shabana Azmi in Toronto

Actor Sajal Aly’s Hollywood film What’s Love Got to Do With It? just premiered at the Toronto Film Festival, where the actress stunned her fans in a black ensemble.

Written and co-produced by Jemima Khan, the Shekhar Kapur directorial was screened at the prestigious festival on Saturday. The cross-cultural British rom-com follows a filmmaker Zoe (Lily James) and juxtaposes her journey to love (swiping on dating apps and bad dates) with that of her close friend Kazim’s (Shazad Latif) who decides to opt for an arranged marriage with Maymouna (Aly). It will release in cinemas on January 27.

The Yaqeen Ka Safar diva was seen bonding with Former Prime Minister Imran Khan and film’s producer Jemima Khan’s son.

She also posed with her transnational co-stars including Bollywood’s Shabana Azmi.

As fans eagerly await the movie’s release, celebrities such as Mahira Khan, Sanam Saeed, Saboor Aly and Shehzad Roy congratulated Sajal on her Hollywood debut.
