Actor Gohar Rasheed is currently riding high on the success of his latest film, The Legend Of Maula Jatt. The movie has garnered international acclaim and unprecedent box-office collections. In a recent interview, Gohar revealed that Bollywood director Karan Johar called director Bilal Lashari after watching the film to admire him for his fantastic work.
The Digest Writer star said that Johar regarded The Legend of Maula Jatt as a milestone for Pakistan and a moment of pride for the entire nation. The K3G director watched the film in Dubai.
Rasheed, who played Maakha in the blockbuster film, added that this appreciation was a huge thing for the whole team of Maula Jatt.
The Legend of Maula Jatt has become the highest-grossing Punjabi film globally according to its official Instagram account, the film made $7.8 million (Rs1.7 billion) at the worldwide box office within four weeks of its release.
The movie’s first teaser was released in 2019, which managed to receive a thunderous response worldwide for its cinematic grandeur, exceptional star cast, and mega-scale production.
